The branches we use are carefully selected for their shape, texture and durability. They come from dead standing trees laid down by a storm. The branches then lose their bark with the weather, the rain and the sun. And in the case of chestnut which is a very resistant, rot-resistant wood, these branches take a pretty shade from beige to brown depending on exposure and age. The branches are meticulously cleaned, brushed and sanded to highlight the grain of the wood, the nuances of color and the effects of weather and age.
